IoT Security Gateway for Edge Computing and Docker
Our new Endian 4i Edge XL combines powerful computing performance with energy efficiency and comprehensive IT security features. Optimised for Docker and edge computing, it is suitable for a wide range of deployment scenarios. Industrial customers gain maximum flexibility and security, and are future-proofed for NIS2 and IEC 62443 compliance.
With a significantly larger RAM of 2GB compared to the predecessor model (Endian 4i Edge 515), this device enables complex analysis to be performed directly at the data source. The increased on-board memory of 16GB provides more capacity for edge computing data storage. An additional microSD card slot allows further expansion of storage capacity.
Ideal for retrofits
The Endian 4i Edge XL is equipped with an additional USB port and two serial ports RS232/422/485. These are particularly important in the OT (Operational Technology) sector for connecting older machines and equipment to the Internet. With the option of mobile connectivity via 4G or Wi-Fi, the IoT security gateway can be used anywhere. DIN rail mounting is provided.
